Tamagawa (Sekidobashi) Flea Market (Video)

The bi-annual Tamagawa (SEKIDOBASHI) Bicycle Flea Market was held today.  Luckily I only live 12 kilometers away so I arrived early at 6:30, but there were already quite a few vendors selling.

The weather was perfect and the the number of people seems to increase each time the flea market is held.  By 8:00 things were in full swing. 

The number of bicycles was impressive, but one thing struck me.
As you can see in the photos many modern bicycles either don't have kickstands, or, the kickstands bore into the turff and are useless, thus people have to lay their beloved two wheeled buddy on the ground.  But not the good'ol fashioned bicycle.  As you can see it is one of the few standing!
