Bridgestone Markings

In the golden age of bicycles, basically 1950s, nearly each and every part bore some kind of marking right down to the tiny bolt heads. Often a single part bore more than one marking, even non-visible parts such as the chainwheel were marked and a single bicycle would have well over 100 markings. As mentioned:in the previous post “Bridgestone Trademarks” in this post we shall take a look at some of the markings as seen on the bicycle in “Bridgestone Bicycle (①Selecting a Project)”.
